ABOUT

Raised in East Tennessee, Olivia DaPonte is an emerging songwriter in the Nashville country music scene. Picking up a guitar when she was 12, she learned to play songs by artists from James Taylor and Bob Dylan to Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash. Not only did that experience give her some great cover material to play at local gigs, but it also honed her direction and style as a budding songwriter.

Originally from Knoxville, Olivia has traveled around Tennessee and beyond to share her music, including performances at 30A Songwriter’s Festival (2022) and New Ground Festival (2021). At just 16, she performed at the renowned Bijou Theatre as a vocal finalist in the Bijou Awards (2016, 2017). Performing on the stage where she once saw many of her idols play solidified her desire to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter.

Olivia currently lives in Nashville, TN, where she performs regularly at local writers’ rounds, including becoming a member of the Song Suffragettes, an all-female country music singer-songwriter collective in Nashville. Olivia was one of four songwriters to perform in the very first writers’ round at the famous Listening Room Cafe’s newest location in Pigeon Forge.

Olivia’s latest singles, “Burning Away” and “White Lies,” can be found on all streaming platforms.
